Well, it’s not really a happiness contest, but it is a chance to win Do Tell the Game, and science shows entering this contest may make you happier, even if you don’t win. Really, it’s true.
New research shows that people are happiest when they connect with each other. Did you catch that new PBS documentary last week? It’s called “This Emotional Life,” and it sums up what science is showing about happiness this way: “We’re connected to each other. We belong to each other. We’re made for each other. Life is a journey through time and happiness is what happens when we make that journey together.”
That is exactly what Do Tell is all about. It helps people become happier by connecting to each other.
So, we have a new way for you to connect to others this week. Join the discussion and answer one or more of our questions on our Facebook fan page – AND as added incentive, you’ll have the chance to win a copy of Do Tell the Game.
We’re giving away a copy of Do Tell: The Relationship Game to someone in our Facebook fan base who contributes to the discussion in the next two weeks.
Here’s how the contest will work:
Every day we post four of the questions from the Do Tell game on the fan page. Things like: “What would be the title of your autobiography?” or “Describe the rudest thing you’ve ever done.”
Reply to the post and you have automatically entered the contest. You can reply to as many posts as you like, and will be entered one time for each post.
As added incentive, if you get your friends to join the page and respond to a post, you’ll get another entry in the contest. (For the double entry make sure your friends let us know you were the one who recommended the fan page to them.)
Of course, we reserve the right to pull any rude, profane or otherwise unhappy posts. Just be polite, be honest and be yourself. If you need more rules, you can check them out here.
